Job Description

In this role you will handle the day-to-day strategy and execution of multiple programmatic paid media accounts using native ad platforms and other software tools.You will be managing budgets and bids, optimizing account configurations, audiences targeting, etc.; and continually be on the hunt for opportunities to get more efficient, test, and increase ROI for our clients. You will report to the director of paid media and work with him on overall account strategy. You will also work with the head of analytics on client reporting; and will assist account managers as needed in order to pull meaningful insights.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute paid programmatic media campaigns for our clients, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and execution.
  • Management of campaign budgets using a data-driven approach.
  • Continual curiosity and self-education around the ever-evolving world of programmatic media; and the multitude of options available. 
  • Ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including daily management of campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions, bid management, website and category exclusions, ad creative, and landing page revisions based on performance targets and client objectives.
  • You should have an understanding of CRO and an ability to flag on-site issues that may cause friction that leads to increased CPA/CPL
  • Assist account manager with client communications around programmatic media knowledge, and recommendations to develop and deliver a clear strategic vision to each client.
  • Forecast, plan, and work towards achieving account growth objectives
  • Provide opportunity analysis and support sales efforts for all new prospective clients
  • Support the media planning process as needed.
  • Contribute to client quarterly business reviews.
  • Continually go above and beyond for our clients.

  • Note that some clients may require off-hours attention.


  • Expert knowledge of major DSPs – The Trade Desk is a plus, but facility with similar DSPs is acceptable.
  • At least 2 years’ experience running programmatic media.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles.
  • Must be able to analyze paid media and analytics data and make specific recommendations supported by metrics
