About This Position

The SEO Specialist at FTF is an important member of our search marketing team, providing clients with data to make informed decisions regarding their SEO strategy. The successful candidate will report to the Director of SEO at FTF. This is a full-time, remote position.

As the SEO Specialist at From the Future you will work the Content and Digital PR teams to develop organic strategies for our enterprise clients. You will also be responsible for all keyword research, site audits and search data analysis on behalf of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on-page optimizations related to page titles, URLs, redirects, internal link structures, SEO Copy Editing, sitemaps review/maintenance
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to identify and discover new target keywords and understand total addressable market
  • Monitor, track, and analyze ranking performance
  • Develop quarterly and annual SEO strategies and roadmaps
  • Report SEO performance and optimization efforts on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis
  • Collaborate with writers and other interdepartmental teams
  • Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyze and improve SEO performance
  • Collaborate with the SEO Director and other in-house marketing teams
  • Develop new SEO tests and strategies
  • Keep up-to-date with latest SEO trends, strategies and algorithm changes
  • Ongoing Google Search Console (GSC) audits and content monitoring
  • Ability to explain the impact of SEO on larger business objectives 
  • Use data to get SEO initiatives approved by clients

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in SEO
  • Good understanding of SEO best practices
  • Ability to create, justify, communicate and implement SEO strategies across teams and external agencies
  • Data-driven and analytical mindset
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience working with SEO tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and other industry standard tools
  • Experience with and/or understanding of code (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
  • Experience with technical SEO is a plus
