Role Overview

The Account Manager will support Account Director or Supervisor on client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality marketing solutions that align with client objectives. This role requires exceptional communication skills, organization and project management skills, and an understanding of marketing tactics, especially related to paid media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements. 

  • Manage all client communication on a day-to-day basis. Prepare agendas, ensure clear understanding of performance data, insights and opportunities before presenting to clients. Follow meetings with notes and action items and distribute to client and internal teams.

  • Know your customer inside out and become the ‘customer champion’ within the agency. Demonstrate an understanding of your client’s business as a whole in your day to day communications with them and with your colleagues internally. 

  • Manage & deliver individual client projects (tasks and timelines) from start to finish.  

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure effective communication and expectation setting/management. Ensure that team members understand exactly what is expected of them and conduct regular informal catch-ups and reviews to ensure they remain on track.

  • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of SEO principles as well as paid media campaign management and analysis across the following channels: Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, & LinkedIn), Paid Search, Google Shopping & YouTube. 

  • Continually improve knowledge and understanding of what our subject matter experts do. The more you understand, the better you will serve our clients.

  • Ensure processes are followed and any barriers and issues are smoothly resolved with client and/or team.

  • Work with a sense of urgency, respecting your client’s and the agency’s timelines.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in account management within a marketing or advertising agency.

  • Proven track record of managing performance marketing tactics.

  • Proven track record of managing client deliverables and multiple accounts.

  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.
