Google Analytics 4 is a completely new tool that leverages a different data model than Universal Analytics. This new model is event-based, which allows for 500 uniquely named events and up to 25 parameters within each one. There are nuances to this limit however and it’s important to understand both the limitations and the advantages to GA4 event structure.
